Nothing Too Excting

Nothing to big today. I took a nap at work, that was great. Now I am about to go to Taekwondo, then I have Northglenn Youth Commission. Today I just wanted to talk about my photography, and my past work, along with my goal. I really like talking pictures, mostly macro images. I like focusing on one small part rather then the whole picture, maybe I am like that in life too. LOL Anyways here is what I have done over the past year;



Now here are my inspirations. I do not know who took these, but I got these all off of Tumblr. They are all forms of macro where they focus on what part other then the whole image.




I hope that over this next school year my photography can develop, I love it so much.

Happy 4rth

Today was the best 4rth of July yet. I loved my day and the fireworks. I am so thankful for my city of Northglenn, and all the staff who put on the event. They all have a special place in my heart. Speaking with the mayor went great, no rain, no wind. It was great. I have to admit I love it when the mayor sees me calls my by my first name and gives me a hug. Pretty awesome. Working in the morning was amusing, and it went by quick. Then I went and hung out with Kurtis and his family's pool party. They were all so nice, and I really enjoyed myself. PLUS i went on top of a roof. That was cool. It has been such a great day, but I don't want anybody forgetting the importance of today. Every time Kurtis saw someone he would say Happy Independence Day. I thought her was such a big nerd for doing so, but he said he didn't want people to forget what July 4rth really was. So next time your getting excited for July 4rth, think about who made this the land of the free.

25 Things

Facebook has this thing going on where you post 25 random things about yourself, then tag people. I did it, so I thought it would be cool to post my random 25 facts about myself here.
■1: I have never once taken off my "Not Even Once" bracelet since I got it at Pride in 2010

■2: I either like everything really organized, or everything a mess. There is no in between

■3: My biggest dream ever is to visit New York City

■4: Sometimes school projects get me excited... I have no idea why

■5: This may not be a secret to all but parts of my hair used to be pink and purple

■6: I skipped 6 belts in Taekwondo, from white to blue. I am so good at it, I think anyways.

■7: I check Post Secret EVERY Sunday, and I haven't missed a time in 3 years.

■8: I try to make everything I own personalized or original through mine or my families creativity.

■9: Tumblr photos are such a big inspiration to me.

■10: I am so excited not to have a bedroom door anymore, and I have no idea why.

■11: Tim Russert is my Career Role Model

■12: My most used website on my computer, next to facebook, is the Spanish translator i use.lol

■13: I can embroider amazing things like no other.

■14: There is this one guy who I would do almost anything for, and I don't know why.

■15: I like music that my friends dont listen to. It makes me feel more special for unknown reasons.

■17: This summer may be simple and relaxing, but it is the best one yet!

Bucket List

As discussed earlier I love the "Keep Calm and Carry On" saying, well people have twisted it to mean other things and such. Well for Easter my mom gave me a Keep Calm and Eat a Cupcake journal. I love cupcakes because freshman year my friends and I were known as the cupcake gang. It has just stuck. Ever since I was 10 I have kept a bucket list journal. I transferred my list over and I made my "Keep Calm and Eat a Cupcake" journal my official bucket list.
It is really fun to keep a list of things you want to do in life, and cross them off. I have done so many already I can't wait till I cross off more. The things on your bucket list can be something serious to something fun. For example on mine I have throw a tomato into a running fan. Pretty stupid but hey I want to do it.

As I was blog searching today I came across a Summer Bucket List. I know that one month of summer has gone by, but I have things I still want to do. So I am here, tonight, going to share my Summer Bucket List 2011.

My room!

So yesterday I moved things out of my room to get it even more ready to be painted. I am getting so excited. My wall as I have discussed is going to be a huge collage above my vanity. My mom has redone pictures frames for me to put pictures from magizenes, tumblr, ect in. That way my room is more personalized. Here is a picture of what I am somewhat doing with my wall.

My room is going to look great, and I encourage all of you to personalize your room to what you like. It doesn't have to cost lots of money at all. Love your space, cus hey its your space.

Summer Must Haves

Every summer I change in what I must have. Everybody has their summer must haves, and I would like to share mine. My first must have is a nice cute pair of sunglasses. Mine brake alot for unknown reason, but this newer pair I instantly fell in love with. They are from the seventeen brand and they are bright pink and sparkly! I love them!
My next summer must have it a nice pair of summer earnings. My uncle made mine, and we got the real peacock feathers from my local bead store Ally Cat Beads, then my uncle made them into a pair of earnings. They are so cute and most definitely go with summer.

Now my last summer must have is a nice set of bracelets on your wrist that have meaning. They can cause bad tan lines but I think they complete my look in summer of winter. My He is We one is from my concert I attended, and my gold one with the pearl is to have me always remember my grandma I recently lost since it was hers. The two hand made ones are from my friend Bruna, and the black wrist band is from the Colorado Meth Project. I got is last summer at Pride, and it says Not Even Once. This organization is something close to my heart, so I never take it off. Try to build your bracelet wrist collection. :)
Right now I have summer reading, and I have 3 books to read. Im still on the first one, but Im close to being done. Its tittle is "Love in the Time of Cholera." It is an okay book, not too amazing but not too bad. It was an Oprah Book Club Book at one point in time. The problem is that for some reason it is taking me forever to read it. I hope to finish it tonight.

My Favorite Things

Today I want to talk about my favorite things, maybe my obsessions perhaps. Anything from sayings to music.

My first obsession is...drum roll..."Keep Calm and Carry On". If you have noticed I used this at the end of my post. It comes from a poster that they used during WW2, to keep people calm. Now its like the new it thing. I love it. Here is a picture of it;

My next favorite thing is the band I talked about that I saw. He is We. I love their music. It is so happy, and just makes me feel good. I love it, so much. This is their song Blame it on the Rain. I love that song.
Now, pearls are my thing. I love pearls. I would rather have a pearl then a diamond. You see my dream engagement ring is a pink pearl with diamonds around it on a gold band. Pretty unique? I think so. I dont think a picture of pearls is needed for this.

My next favorite thing is Bows. I always have a bow on, and people think of it as my trademark. I love to get my bows from Forever 21. I prefer them on Headbands rather then clips.

Now, in my free time I love to spend time away on Tumblr. I love the blog website because it deals with my two favorite things; photography and fashion.
