Chillen in my Snuggie

Yeah..that exactly what I am doing. Chilling in my snuggie. Been an emotional week, and I hope it doesn't continue that way. Cool news, I got this thing to hang in your closet that are kind of like little self containers, and I can put my cardigans in it! It clears up so much space in my closet because I had so many cardigans. Anyways, let should I talk about...Well I have a new addiction; Pinterest. We all know I love Keep Calm and Carry On, but I have found some new cute posters I can share.
This first section reminds me of the Shimmer, Sparkle, Shine Project.

So my letter jacket is officially orderded, it is going to look great but I did something I am sure no one else in Colorado has. I wanted something on my jacket to symbolize that I am LDS. I went back and forth on what symbol, so I chose the YW Torch. The flames will be in gold, with the base white, and outlines in blue. SO PERFECT. I love it so much. Can't wait for the jacket.

PROM!

So i am a planner, but honestly its almost February, and prom is in April. So im not planning to much! haha but I got the group together already. I decided that I have so much fun with the ttv staff, so we are going to all go together. I am trying to get the whole limo thing figured out, but im excited. My dress is being made, its inspired to be vintage like, and similar to a Betsy Johnson dress. I want it pink with lace and OF COURSE sleeves.

Thats all I know for now, but its crazy to be dreaming of this day since your a kid, then have it so close! crazyness

BRING IT ON!

Things have been great! I compete next Saturday for the American Legion in a speech contest for scholarship money! I am really pumped about that! Got another art project done about baptism for the dead! It came out amazing as well! Did I mention my weekend was great? Friday I just chilled, then Saturday into Sunday my mother and I slept over at Shari's and we made cards and jewelry for project valentine. Then Sunday I hung out with a friend I wish I saw every day still, Zach. He graduated last year, but he is one person who makes me laugh constantly. We saw Bring It On The Musical, and it was amazing too. Today I memorized my speech, did some house work. It was so nice not to have homework all weekend! Love it when IB does that.
Here is a picture of me yesterday with Zach at Bring It On.

Relization/ Mormon Arr

I am almost 17!!! oh my. I feel old!!! Since I had a mega birthday bash last year I want to keep it low key this year. Im thinking a nice dinner with my two best friends and my family. I also have a few gifts in mind, but really all I want is to get money donations, to make the first Shimmer, Sparkle, Shine event. These girls are going to benefit I hope! I am getting ready for two big scholarship events, because Im telling you it is going to be awesome.

Anyways, I finished my first complete piece on Photoshop for my IB art. My focus for art is my church of course, so I focused on life after death. I made a planet with me and my "husband" on our planet if we get married in the temple. I love it! Pictured to be posted soon!!!

Cherry Creek Mall

Sometimes I wish I had the time to sit down and read a non-required school book, or even just have the chance to blog! Life is crazy, but I enjoy being busy. Last night I was fortunate enough to have the chance to go to Cherry Creek mall with my two best friends and shop, and also window shop at stores we could never afford to buy things from. If you are not from Colorado, I will fill you in, Cherry Creek Mall is for the "upper" class and has stores like Juicy Couture, LV, Burberry, ect. I was able to splurge and get some awesome deals on beauty products from Victoria Secret, Bath n Body Works, and Forever 21. Of the course the greatest part was spending the time with my two bestest friends.

And I also noticed that I have not blogged about New Years Eve. Uncle Byron colored my hair and konners. I officially have no more blonde streaks from when I went through that pink highlight stage. Shari, Shae, and my mother joined us. We played some apples to apples, and ate some pie and ice cream. We also wiggled to LMFAO and watched the ball drop. It was an awesome night as well.

Keep Calm and Love Yourself,
Ciara
